USATF Future Stars to compete for National Titles at USATF Hershey Youth Indoor Championships3/14/2019
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- Starting Friday, more than 2,500 USATF Future Stars will compete for national titles at the 2019 USATF Hershey National Youth Indoor Championships, March 15-17, at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Staten Island, New York. USATF returns to Ocean Breeze after successful 2017 and 2018 editions that saw a combine 100 meet records broken by athletes ranging in age from 7 to 18. Fans can follow along at #USATFutureStars on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. Returning champion Da'mira Allen (USATF Mid-Atlantic; Chester Chee) now in the 11-12 age group returns after winning three USATF titles in 2017 and 2018 in the 9-10 age group. Last year Allen set age group championship meet records in all three events she won - 400m, 800m, and 1500m. Sianni Wynn (Willis/Camden Track Club) a double champion last year in the 55m and 200m, returns in the 11-12 age group and is scheduled to compete in the 55m, 200m and 400m. Two-time 2018 indoor champion Rhoan Kaulder II (Maximum Velo), returns after winning the 9-10 55m and 200m last year. Kaulder clocked an age-group championship meet record in the 200m with a time of 27.06. Live coverage will be available on USATF.TV +PLUS starting Friday at 9:30 a.m. ET.
